Doggles

One night, the Marauders and some of their female accomplices found themselves caught by Roy Mustang, Head of Ravenclaw house, while they were wandering through the empty school.

Upon being asked what in the hells they were doing, Sirius Black pointed at one of the Ravenclaws, turned into a wolf, saying they were walking their dog. Of course, since they were not allowed to keep wolves (or dogs!) in Hogwarts, Professor Mustang pointed this out immediately. It was a stray, Desdemona Winchcombe (Des for short) and James Potter told him, and they were taking care of it so it would not die.

Why does a stray dog have goggles, Mustang wondered, rather sarcastically.

Peter Pettigrew came with a genius reply: they are doggles.

Of course, they all got detention, as the teacher had seen those goggles on that particular Ravenclaw every damn day since they came to Hogwarts, but at least it wasn't so bad because they were with at least seven of them... Though the Head of House was very ashamed of his Ravenclaws with doggles.
